Massive outreach programme   on Cleanliness & Hygiene  conducted  at Mapusa Bus Stand as part of Paryatan Parv  Day 5 celebrations
Panjim, Sept 20: Students of IHM and officials of India Tourism, Goa Tourism & IHM undertook a massive outreach programme   in Mapusa for the general public, street vendors and tourists as part of  the Paryatan Parv celebrations. 
Entitled “Hygiene Awareness among tourists, street food vendors, shopkeepers”,  the programme was  conducted at the Mapusa Bus stand  on Thursday morning.
Being one of the nerve centres and   prime location in Goa, the awareness  programme  was conducted at Mapusa Bus Stand  for all shopkeepers, street vendors,  tourists and  locals who engaged in the  over two hour long session.  
Students of IHM enthusiastically presented  information and  imparted knowledge on the need for cleanliness & hygiene especially among street food vendors and eateries. 
Plaque-cards  highlighting the need for cleanliness and hygiene  for good and disease free life were displayed by the students.  The students  moved around  the Mapusa Bus Stand  and  interacted with vendors and   shopkeepers  and  received an overwhelming and  encouraging response.
On Friday, 21st September 2018, a programme on Sensitization in the Neighbourhood about  Atithi Devo Bhava    will be conducted  from 5.00 p.m.  to 6.00 p.m. for  food vendors at Miramar beach.
