GTDC’s Monsoon Trekking Expedition heads to Surla Waterfall  this  Sunday, 29th September  2019

GTDC’s Sunday monsoon trekking expeditions are getting bigger and  better every passing Sunday.  In an exercise to  make the expeditions  more exciting and  meaningful,  this Sunday, the trek heads to Surla Waterfall inthe beautiful  village of Surla located in the chorla ghat. 

 

This trek is surrounded  by beautiful  landscapes  and scenic  beauty  and is a seasonal waterfall. This season is the perfect time to experience waterfall.The trekking expedition is open to all especially those with a spirit for adventure and nature lovers. Delicious lunch would also be  served .

 

 

This trek promises to be moderate and adventurous. The walk is easy with little uphill/ downhill climbat certain places. One can admire the forest with flowing streams, a variety of butterflies and experience the nature at its best. Pack your trekking bags and head towards an easy and adventurous trek amidst nature and picturesque landscapes.

 

Transport arrangements have been made from Mapusa Residency at 7:45 and from Paryatan Bhavan , Patto at 8:30 am followed by a pick-up at Margao Residency at 8:45 am. Pick-up at Old Goa, Porvorim, Cortalim and Verna is also available.

 

Interested trekkers are requested to carry along  an extra pair of clothes, rainwear, trekking shoes, drinking  water, snacks and binoculars.  Smoking and   consumption of alcohol  is prohibited.

 

The charge per head is Rs. 800 which is inclusive of lunch, transport and guiding.

 

Please note: The expedition is not recommended for those who are physically unfit.
