As part of the World Tourism Day 2025 celebrations, the Department of Tourism, Government of Goa, in collaboration with the Rotary Club of Panaji, Paradise Cruises, Travel and Tourism Association of Goa (TTAG) and SKAL International Goa, hosted a special River Mandovi Boat Cruise that embodied the true essence of inclusive and responsible tourism.
The River Mandovi Cruise has shown how tourism can transcend recreation to become a platform for inclusion, dignity and community spirit. We are proud to make such experiences an integral part of Goa’s tourism story. This inclusive cruise reflects our vision of making Goa a destination where tourism benefits every section of society.
On 26th September, senior citizens, persons with disabilities (PwDs), and children from orphanages enjoyed a day on the gentle waters of the Mandovi, while 27th September welcomed children with disabilities along with their teachers and staff for a memorable experience of joy, music, and togetherness.
The initiative went beyond sightseeing to highlight the values of compassion, inclusion and sustainability, echoing Goa Tourism’s commitment to ‘Tourism for All’ and Regenerative Tourism principles.
The event marked one of the flagship activities under the World Tourism Day 2025 celebrations.
